April 2021: LRVNA and NANA Officially Merged

The LRVNA and NANA officially merged in April 2021, and, as the combined entity known as Lakes Region VNA, has continued to seamlessly provide the highest quality in-home care and hospice services in order to better meet the needs of the Central/Lakes Regions and Greater Bristol.

Services include:

• Skilled nursing services.

• Hospice services.

• Home health aide and homemaker services.

• Physical therapy.

• Speech and occupational therapy.

• Medical Social Workers.

• Well Child programs.

• Blood pressure, foot care, and immunization clinics.

• Community support services.

• Other wellness programs.

Each organization brought a rich history of excellence to the merger. Established in 1960, the Newfound Area Nursing Association, NANA, initially provided home skilled nursing services in the towns of Bristol, Bridgewater, and New Hampton, added the town of Alexandria to its service area in 1969, and later added Danbury, Groton, Hebron, Plymouth, Campton and Hill communities to its home health, hospice, and community service region.

LRVNA, initially incorporated in 1923 as the Meredith Public Health Association as a not-for-profit licensed and certified home health and hospice care provider, had grown to serve 35 communities with over 45,000 visits in the Central/Lakes Region of New Hampshire prior to the merger.

Combined together under the name Lakes Region VNA, our organization remains committed to the health and wellbeing of our communities, and continues to pursue ever greater excellence in home-care and hospice through the dedication of our wonderful staff.
